NAME

raise - send a signal.

SYNOPSIS

#include <signal.h> int raise (int sig);

DESCRIPTION

raise() sends a signal to the current process. It is equivalent to kill(getpid(),sig)

RETURN VALUE

Zero for success, nonzero for failure.
