Saying Y here would allow you to read from their floppies and hard disk partitions. If you have floppies or hard disk partitions like that, it is likely that they contain binaries from those other Unix systems; in order to run these binaries, you will want to install linux-abi which is a set of kernel modules that lets you run SCO, Xenix, Wyse, UnixWare, Dell Unix and System V programs under Linux. It is available via FTP (user: ftp) from ). NOTE: that will work only for binaries from Intel-based systems; PDP ones will have to wait until somebody ports Linux to -11 ;-) If you only intend to mount files from some other Unix over the network using NFS, you don't need the System V file system support (but you need NFS file system support obviously). Note that this option is generally not needed for floppies, since a good portable way to transport files and directories between unixes (and even other operating systems) is given by the tar program ("man tar" or preferably "info tar"). cgroup: don't online subsystems before cgroup_name/path() are operational
While refactoring cgroup creation, a5bca2152036 ("cgroup: factor out cgroup_create() out of cgroup_mkdir()") incorrectly onlined subsystems before the new cgroup is associated with it kernfs_node. This is fine for cgroup proper but cgroup_name/path() depend on the associated kernfs_node and if a subsystem makes the new cgroup_subsys_state visible, which they're allowed to after onlining, it can lead to NULL dereference. The current code performs cgroup creation and subsystem onlining in cgroup_create() and cgroup_mkdir() makes the cgroup and subsystems visible afterwards. There's no reason to online the subsystems early and we can simply drop cgroup_apply_control_enable() call from cgroup_create() so that the subsystems are onlined and made visible at the same time.
